“It Was All A Stream”

(LOS ANGELES, CA) July 29, 2020 – Snoop Dogg, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and B-Real of Cypress Hill are headlining a global livestream concert, It Was All A Stream (IWAAS) on Saturday, August 8th (7-10pm PST), a benefit concert aimed to move the culture forward and “spread the love” during these challenging times. Band together with these hip-hop legends as they unite to entertain and uplift millions of fans, for a night of electrifying performances infused with relevant social messages and calls to action that will echo around the world.

Hosted on Krayzie Bone’s new platform LivingLegends.TV and presented by Leaves of Legend, Bobby Dee, Ooze and King Palm, IWAAS will be a live stream concert like no other, elevating the spirits of fans from Cleveland, to LA and worldwide. The festival style production will be a special treat for fans who will have a chance to engage with each other and our legendary line-up, while the dynamic performances are sure to keep viewers on the edge of their seat. IWAAS will bring fans together globally for an unforgettable night where music, culture and community unite.

Snoop Dogg has been one of hip-hop’s greatest voices and personalities on and off the stage for decades, and he’s adapted masterfully to the “new normal” of virtual performances. With nearly 3 million people viewing his Verzuz TV battle with DMX just last week, Snoop is eagerly anticipating the August 8th performance and taking it to the next level. He calls on fans across the world to “come ride on a fantastic voyage with me, DJ Snoopadelic, Dr. Greenthumb aka B-Real, and my homeboys Bone Thugs-N-Harmony as we blaze into IT WAS ALL A STREAM.”

into IT WAS ALL A STREAM.”

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony (BTNH) have always been innovators of hip-hop culture. Since the beginning, their music has addressed the social issues that many other artists shied away from. That commitment to speak up when it’s important and share a message that people need now more than ever, has driven BTNH to create new ways of doing things, and It Was All A Stream is exactly that.

“So many of the issues we are dealing with currently are issues that BTNH have been fighting against since its creation. We never stopped talking about these issues, and because of that we feel our music is needed more than ever. There are a lot of artists who have not said much during these trying times in our fight against systemic racism, and because of the content of our music, we feel it is our responsibility to stand with the people and deliver a performance that unifies our voices” explains the legendary group. BTNH have envisioned this show as a collection of legends united in the fight for true equality and justice…to celebrate real rap while supporting causes that are dear to the hearts of these performers during these difficult times.

In addition to the mind-blowing visual creativity and legendary line-up, the concert can be viewed exclusively on LivingLegends.TV, which was founded by Krayzie Bone to connect artists with their fans during COVID-19 and beyond. It Was All A Stream will be the inaugural concert of LivingLegends.TV and will be a special blend of story, music performance, visual mediums and live engagement that puts the viewers right in the middle of the action. As Krayzie Bone explains, “With everything happening in these times, It Was All A Stream was produced to help drive home a message to the world: now is the time to ‘spread the love.’ Our message will be amplified through electrifying performances of our legendary artists who will give our fans an entertaining, uplifting experience through my new platform, LivingLegends.TV.”
Spread the Love is the also the name of Krayzie Bone’s newly founded initiative, which was created to invest back into community groups on the front lines of advancing urban youth development, community services for vulnerable families and promoting racial justice.

#SpreadTheLove #BenefitForBreonna

In solidarity with the revolutionary social change that is spreading across the world, It Was All A Stream will be the launching pad for the Spread the Love initiative, which will also be supporting organizations fighting for justice and equality: Breaking Through Barriers to Success, the Social Justice Learning Institute, the National Lawyers Guild (Sacramento Chapter), the Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland, the Campaign for Non Profit Resilience, the Cleveland School of Cannabis, 2nd Call and Justice for Breonna Taylor. Breonna was a heroic EMT who survived the frontlines of a pandemic that disproportionately kills Black people, only to have her life stolen by police when she was killed in her home while sleeping. LeBron James, along with other players in the NBA (and nearly the entire WNBA) have been using their entertainment platforms to bring awareness to Breonna Taylor’s case, and now the stars of It Was All A Stream are adding their powerful voices to this cause.

In the wake of COVID-19 shutdowns and the protest movements happening in every major city in America, It Was All A Stream is about more than just entertainment. The concert is incorporating messaging aimed at raising awareness and inspiring people to action. A percentage of proceeds will be donated to the organizations above, and their campaigns and calls to action will be featured during the show. It Was All A Stream is allowing fans to turn up while giving back…to make the world a better place for us all.

Elizabeth Kim, President of the National Lawyers Guild (Sacramento Chapter), shares her excitement in partnering with this historic effort: “Through this partnership with the Spread the Love initiative and It Was All A Stream, we can expand our team of legal observers who put their lives on the frontline to monitor police brutality and recruit more pro bono attorneys for national Mass Defense work. Furthermore, we can provide necessary Know Your Rights trainings and resources to first response organizers on the ground.”
