Fox Soul Launches Season 2 of Worth a Conversation With Jay ‘Jeezy’ Jenkins

FOX SOUL, the leading OTT streaming platform celebrating black history and the African American community 365 days a year, premiered the first episode of Worth A Conversation with Jay “Jeezy” Jenkins season 2, hosted by recording artist, entrepreneur and philanthropist — Jay “Jeezy” Jenkins.

Jay “Jeezy” Jenkins has always converted his artistic inspiration into real life conversations. This series is a conversation, not a talk show. Jay sits down with thinkers and doers of the culture. He engages in intimate dialogue with life lessons serving as the compass for this show’s soul. Worth A Conversation gives the audience an up close and personal viewpoint into the life and minds of some of the most iconic people to advance the culture. This is FOX SOUL’s version of My Next Guest with David Letterman led by Jay because of his ability to bridge the gap between the street corner and the corner office. Last season’s guests, included actor and rapper Ludacris, film producer Will Packer, Mayor of Atlanta Keisha Lance Bottoms, record producer, rapper, businessman, and art collector Swizz Beatz, 2x Super Bowl winner and sports analyst Deion Sanders (aka “Prime Time”), to America’s favorite entertainer Steve Harvey, and activist Tamika Mallory, a nationally recognized civil rights activist and seasoned community organizer, who is an expert in the areas of gun violence prevention, criminal justice reform, and grassroots organizing, among others.

He is the bishop of The Potter’s House, a non-denominational American megachurch in Dallas, Texas, who broadcasts to millions weekly, and in 10 years transformed a humble church of 50 families into a multimillion-dollar ministry that reaches around the globe through television, radio, and the Internet. Bishop TD Jakes is also a best-selling author and successful entrepreneur. His political, cultural and spiritual insight from his 40+ years in ministry and business is relevant to the headlines we see every day.

  • Dr. Steve Perry – Perry is an educator, bestselling author, and the Founder and Head of Schools, Capital Preparatory Schools. Widely respected by grassroots community members and internationally renowned leaders as an educator, social worker and public speaker, his charismatic and compelling voice is an inspiration.
  • Shaun King – Journalist, civil rights activist and co-founder of Real Justice PAC, King is amongst the most compelling voices in the Black Lives Matter movement: a humane and passionate advocate for justice and families, and an extremely visible fundraiser for victims of brutality and discrimination for African Americans.

As an entrepreneur, new business ventures for Jay “Jeezy” Jenkins include multiple real estate properties, Defiance Fuel Fitness Water, a partnership with American Cut Steakhouse and his ongoing partnership with global spirits brand Tequila Avion. Jeezy has been no stranger to the fashion world. With his “dare to be different” mentality, he is not afraid of a bold print or a bright color making a statement with everything he wears.
